The Batmobile (1989)

Luckily, the reserve price wasn’t met, so this badboy is still available. It’s one of the 5 official Batmobiles from the Micheal Keaton version of Batman.

The auction ended earlier today, but didn’t sell. I guess not many Batman fans have a spare $100k+ lying around to spend on a car that you can’t drive on the street and you probably can’t display anywhere without WarnerBros. taking a cut of the action – according to the item description, you have to sign some sort of agreement/contract to own the vehicle.

I was also thinking, it’s so long, it won’t fit in most garages, and with that long front overhang, it probably can’t go over speed bumps or make it up any inclined driveways.  But, I suppose practicality shouldn’t matter when you’re buying the freaking batmobile!
