It's about time somebody came out with a widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) pair of video visors. Though they aren't HD, and they don't have a vga or DVI port, they apparently support just about every other video playing hardware. Now you can be just like Geordie LaForge!

Now you can have your sweet tunes with just your headphones. Wait a minute - didn't I see these in the 70s with those huge antennas on them? This is nothing new!

Fancy headphone makers Skullcandy have just unveiled a new set of headphones that come with an embedded portable media player, removing the need for wires of any kind. The portable media player slides into one side of the headphones, and it can be removed so you can change songs sort through your music. It also has a headphone jack, so if you want you can use it with any other set of headphones.

It’s a pretty cool design, although I wonder if the convenience of not having to carry a music player would be outweighed by the added bulkiness and the necessity of sliding the PMP out of the headphones every time you wanted to change songs. It’s certainly an interesting concept, and with Skullcandy’s reputation for high-quality headphones, one that could do pretty well.

A cool new blue Zune was spotted at Fry’s today, complete with some new features. The first, “Device to Cloud,” allows users to access wireless hotspots to update music collections, browse Zune Marketplace, refresh Channels (another feature), exchange favorites, and buy tagged FM songs. “Channels” are custom stations that deliver “personalized playlists” to the Zune, and the cleverly named “Games” feature is, well, about games. Rumor is a few might even come preloaded on this blue Zune. Lastly, the “Buy From FM” feature lets you listen to FM radio stations and tag the songs purchase when you sync with a PC.
