For both of you out there who still have a landline, now you can have something cool to plug into it. Of course, you have to be at home – standing in front of it – to actually use it. Seriously? You can build something this cool, and THAT is what you come up with? I’m offended.
I’ve tried Palm OS and BlackberryOS, iPhone, Windows Mobile – and for me, the most useful and easy to use (note I didn’t say coolest or most stable), has always been Windows Mobile. The new Palm Treo Pro running WM looks to be a sweeeet ride.
Tired of not being able to hack your iPhone, try the Neo FreeRunner. The software AND hardware are open source. They even sell you the screwdrivers and tools to take it apart! I wonder how that affects the warranty?
Most mobile phones don’t have optical zoom for a couple reasons. First, they take up a lot of space, and second, good optics can be expensive.
